We offer the option for students in some countries to pay in their local currency (regardless of what currency they agreed to pay their fees in when they signed their Student Agreement). Whether this option is available to you depends on your country of residence, and what payment method you want to use.

Paying in your local currency offers distinct advantages.

When paying by Credit Card

  • You will immediately see the amount you are paying in the payment currency, and what this is equivalent to in your local currency – this is far more convenient than having to wait until you get your credit card statement to see what the payment amount in the payment currency converts to in your local currency.
  • If there are foreign exchange limitations in your area for global currency payments, you may overcome these restrictions by paying in local currency.
  • We do our best to provide the best possible exchange rate; this is likely to provide a more competitive rate than your card provider or bank.

When paying by Bank/Wire Transfer

  • If you are transferring to a bank account in the same country you may avoid having to pay international bank/wire transfer charges.
  • We do our best to provide the best possible exchange rate; this is likely to provide a more competitive rate than your card provider or bank.
  • The processing time will be faster as the transaction will be local, and not international.
