The online library is an essential resource to use during your studies. You will have access to a vast amount of journal articles, books and reports to help you prepare your classroom assignments.

You will get an email telling you to register for the online library before the end of the first week of your studies; you can see the instructions for registering here, but you will NOT be able to register until you have received the email.

We recommend that you review the help videos available here (you can start this before you have library access to get a head start) as well as the resources detailed here.

Becoming a skilled researcher, able to find material to refine your knowledge of a topic and to reference in your assignments is vital to your success as a student.  Every hour you invest in learning how to use the online library will be repaid in many hours saved when writing assignments, and in the marks you will receive for your assignments.

How do I locate the online library?

The online library has been specifically tailored for the online programmes. The web address is: http://libguides.liv.ac.uk/onlineprogrammes.

When will I have access to the resources in the online library?

At the end of your first week of class you will receive an email requesting you to register for the library. The instructions will be contained in the email. During your library registration you will be given a library username and requested to choose your password. Please be aware that following registration you are not sent an email confirming your details. Therefore please make a note of your username.
