Office 365 is the brand name Microsoft use for a suite of services and applications (i.e. software). Laureate Online Education provide Office 365 to the students on the University of Liverpool's online programmes, primarily to give them an email account and online storage for files.

Other Office 365 services or applications may be used - for example, Student Communities is used on the Doctoral programmes. Students can also download and install Office 2016 programmes, which remain active for as long as they have an @online.liverpool.ac.uk account.
